In their last game against Oregon's Ducks at Haas Pavilion, the Golden Bears emerged victorious with 69 points over the Ducks' 64. Their field goal percentage stood at 41 percent, and they excelled at free throws with a remarkable 91 percent success rate. They also outrebounded their opponents by five boards, which could be a crucial factor in their upcoming game.

Prior to that win, California faced Oregon State's Beavers and secured another win scoring 81 points to the Beavers' 73. The team showed exceptional prowess from beyond the arc hitting an impressive 48 percent of three-point shots. Their assists-to-turnover ratio was noteworthy as well, standing at an outstanding ratio of nearly three assists for every turnover.

The trend continued when they played away against Washington's Huskies; although it was a close call with just two points separating them (82-80), it was another win for California. They demonstrated efficiency in two-point field goals shooting at a high rate of 58 percent and dominated second-chance points with eighteen compared to Huskies' fourteen.

The upcoming match is set to take place on March 7th at Maples Pavilion – Stanford's home court – which may pose additional challenges for the Golden Bears due to familiar territory advantage for Cardinal players. However, considering recent performances including solid shooting percentages and rebounding capabilities, fans can expect California to put up a formidable fight.
