The Charlotte 49ers have shown a commendable performance in their recent outings. Despite a narrow defeat against Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders on March 10th with a score of 65-66, the team displayed robust offensive strategies and resilience. Their field goal percentage stood at an impressive 56 percent and they dominated inside the paint with 32 points. However, it was their defense that raised some concerns as they allowed too many points off turnovers.

In another nail-biter on March 4th against UAB Blazers, which extended into double overtime, CHAR demonstrated sheer determination but fell short by just two points (91-93). Their free throw accuracy was notable at 76 percent and they managed to keep turnovers relatively low. The defensive rebounds were strong with CHAR grabbing an impressive total of 28 boards.

Looking back further to their game on March 3rd versus UTSA Roadrunners, CHAR emerged victorious with a score of 73-78 in San Antonio. They showcased balanced scoring from both inside and beyond the arc while maintaining solid defense throughout the game.

The key for CHAR moving forward will be tightening up their defense without compromising on their offensive fluidity. With players who can shoot efficiently from both two-point and three-point range as seen in past games – hitting over half of their two-point attempts consistently – there's no doubt that offense is where they shine brightest.

Western Carolina Catamounts will not make it easy though; WCU has been known for its aggressive play style and ability to disrupt opponents' rhythm. It will be crucial for CHAR to maintain composure under pressure and execute plays meticulously if they wish to secure victory in this matchup.

Fans can expect an intense battle where every possession counts as both teams strive to outdo each other on this neutral ground at Ocean Center. With strategic adjustments focused primarily on defensive efforts while capitalizing on scoring opportunities when presented, Charlotte has what it takes to come out ahead if they stick to these principles.

Mark your calendars for this exciting clash taking place on Saturday evening at Ocean Center in Daytona Beach; tip-off is set for shortly after sunset local time (6:30 PM EDT). Fans unable or preferring not to attend can catch all the action live via FloSports' internet broadcast network.
