Can the Charlotte 49ers Maintain Their Home Court Dominance at Dale F. Halton Arena?

The game, held at Dale F. Halton Arena in front of a crowd of 8,201 spectators, showcased the Charlotte team's superior shooting accuracy and defensive strength. The home team shot an impressive 45 percent from the field compared to East Carolina's 33 percent and outperformed them in two-point shots with a success rate of 56 percent against East Carolina's modest 42 percent.

The second half was particularly dominant for the Charlotte team as they racked up an additional 41 points to their halftime tally, overshadowing East Carolina's effort by a significant margin. The Pirates managed to sink only four out of twenty-one three-point attempts throughout the game, leaving them trailing with a mere nineteen percent success rate from beyond the arc.

Charlotte’s defense was formidable; they blocked five shots and made five steals over the course of play. This defensive prowess contributed significantly to their eighteen free throw attempts, capitalizing on these opportunities by making fifteen and boasting an eighty-three percent completion rate from the line.

Rebounding was another area where Charlotte excelled; they pulled down forty-two rebounds including eleven offensive boards which led to fourteen second-chance points – doubling what East Carolina managed in that category.

Assists were also key for Charlotte as they distributed fourteen assists throughout their roster showing strong teamwork and ball movement against East Carolina’s six assists. This facilitated better scoring opportunities which were reflected in thirty-four points scored inside paint compared to twenty-two by their opponents.

Despite committing eleven turnovers themselves, both teams scored nine points off turnovers each – indicating that while there were slip-ups by both sides during playtime it did not heavily impact either side’s scoring ability based on those mistakes alone.

Looking ahead for fans of The Charlotte 49ers is another away game scheduled against South Florida Bulls at Yuengling Center located in Tampa on February sixth at nine o'clock PM Eastern Time Zone broadcasted nationally on ESPN2 channel two hundred nine – ensuring supporters can follow all action live as it unfolds.
