The game was marked by intense competition from start to finish, with neither team able to establish a dominant lead throughout. The first half concluded with the Charlotte 49ers slightly ahead at 33-29, setting the stage for an even more competitive second half where they scored an additional 40 points against the Owls' strong effort of putting up another 41 points.

The Charlotte offense was efficient from both inside and outside the arc. They shot a solid 54 percent on two-point attempts while also hitting eight three-point shots for a commendable accuracy rate of approximately 42 percent from distance. Free throws were another area where Charlotte excelled, converting them at a rate of about 72 percent which contributed significantly to their narrow victory margin.

Defensively, the Charlotte team managed four blocks and one steal but perhaps most impressively limited their personal fouls to just ten for the entire game. This disciplined approach allowed them to maintain key players on court without foul trouble issues that could have disrupted their gameplay rhythm.

On rebounds, Charlotte showed strength by grabbing a total of thirty-two boards – five offensive rebounds contributing to second-chance opportunities that resulted in eight crucial points for them. Their defensive efforts were highlighted by securing twenty-five defensive rebounds which helped limit Temple's scoring chances.

The Temple Owls put forth a valiant effort in trying to secure victory on their home court but fell just short despite outscoring Charlotte in fast break points (10) and points off turnovers (14). They also had more assists than Charlotte with fifteen but struggled with personal fouls committing twenty throughout the game which proved costly.

As fans look forward to future matchups, they can anticipate seeing the next game featuring The University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners visiting Dale F. Halton Arena in North Carolina on February fifteenth scheduled for six o'clock PM Eastern Time Zone broadcasted online via ESPN+. This will be an opportunity for fans both local and afar to tune in as The University prepares its squad after this hard-fought win hoping to continue its momentum into upcoming contests.
