Cincinnati Bearcats Set to Battle TCU Horned Frogs at Fifth Third Arena

As the Cincinnati Bearcats prepare to host the TCU Horned Frogs at Fifth Third Arena, fans are eager to see if their team can continue its winning momentum. The Bearcats have shown a strong performance in recent games, with a notable victory over the Stetson Hatters where they scored 83 points and dominated with a field goal percentage of 52 and an impressive two-point shooting percentage of 63. Their rebounding was particularly dominant, grabbing 40 rebounds, including 16 offensive boards which led to 20 second-chance points.

Another win against Merrimack Warriors saw the Bearcats scoring 65 points with a solid field goal percentage of around 44. They excelled in fast-break situations, scoring 12 fast-break points and turning over their opponents for an additional 28 points off turnovers. The team's defensive efforts were also commendable as they blocked five shots and stole the ball eight times.

However, in an away game against Dayton Flyers at Heritage Bank Center, despite putting up a good fight with strong paint presence leading to 38 points in that area and securing another high number of offensive rebounds (18), the Bearcats fell short by scoring only 68 points with lower overall shooting percentages compared to previous games.

The upcoming match at Fifth Third Arena promises excitement as Cincinnati looks to capitalize on their home-court advantage where they have recently shown strength both offensively and defensively. Fans can expect aggressive rebounding and an emphasis on converting turnovers into scoring opportunities based on past performances.

Mark your calendars for January 17th when these two teams clash. Tip-off is scheduled for local time at Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. Fans unable to attend can catch all the action live on ESPN+.
