First Half

In the first half, Cincy set a strong tone by scoring 40 points. Baba Miller led the charge with his impressive shooting performance, contributing significantly to the team's early lead. The Cats capitalized on their opportunities in transition, scoring 15 fast break points that left UCF scrambling to keep up.

Second Half

As play resumed after halftime, Cincinnati continued their offensive assault by adding another 52 points to their tally. Jalen Celestine was instrumental during this period with his sharp shooting from beyond the arc, hitting crucial three-pointers that widened the gap between them and UCF. The Cats' defense also played a key role by limiting UCF's effectiveness in paint scoring.

UCF's Efforts

Despite trailing throughout most of the game, UCF fought valiantly in an attempt to close the gap. Their second-half surge saw them score 44 points as they tried to mount a comeback led by efficient free throw shooting at an impressive rate of 80 percent. However, it wasn't enough against Cincinnati’s relentless offense and strategic ball movement.

The post game analysis highlights what went wrong for Cincinnati Bearcats earlier in their season but underscores how they have turned things around effectively against formidable opponents like UCF.
