Queens Royals VS Clemson Tigers

The game at Littlejohn Coliseum saw the Clemson Tigers take control from the start. Dominating the first half with an overwhelming score of 69 points compared to just 36 by Queens University, it was clear that Clemson had come prepared to make a statement on their home court. The second half continued in similar fashion as they added another 40 points to their total while holding Queens University to 43.

Clemson's shooting was nothing short of remarkable; they hit an astounding two-point field goal percentage of sixty-seven percent and were equally impressive from beyond the arc with fifty-three percent three-point shooting. Their free throw accuracy also contributed significantly to their point tally as they made seventy-six percent of their attempts.

Defensively, Clemson matched its offensive output by securing six blocks and six steals throughout the game. They also dominated on rebounds with forty-two in total—seven more than Queens University's thirty-five—and capitalized on turnovers scoring twenty points off them.

Queens University put up a valiant effort despite being overpowered by Clemson's offense. They managed fourteen second-chance points and scored ten off turnovers but struggled overall with lower shooting percentages across all categories compared to Clemson: thirty-eight percent field goals, forty-four percent two-points shots, and thirty-three percent three-pointers.

The Royals' top scorers fought hard against a relentless Tiger defense but ultimately fell short as they could not match up against Clemson’s high-powered offense which boasted sixty-two points in paint alone—a testament to their ability to penetrate and finish strong at the rim.

Looking ahead for fans of The Clemson Tigers is another opportunity for them to witness their team in action when they face Radford Highlanders at Littlejohn Coliseum on December 30th. This game will be broadcasted via ACC Network Extra online platform where supporters can tune in for live coverage starting at midnight Eastern Time.
