Can Clemson Tigers Dominate Miami Hurricanes at Littlejohn?

As the Clemson Tigers prepare to face off against the Miami (FL) Hurricanes, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be an electrifying game at Littlejohn Coliseum. The Tigers have been on a remarkable run, and their recent performances suggest that they could very well continue their winning streak.

Looking back at the December 22nd game, the Tigers showcased an offensive masterclass against Queens University Royals, scoring a whopping 109 points. Their shooting was nothing short of spectacular – sinking 67 percent from two-point range and an impressive 53 percent from beyond the arc. With such high shooting percentages, it's clear that when the Tigers get hot, they're almost impossible to stop.

The defensive side of things was just as dominant for CLEM. They out-rebounded Queens University by nine boards and managed to block six shots while keeping their personal fouls low. This kind of defensive prowess will be crucial when facing MIA's offense.

However, it would be unwise to underestimate the Hurricanes. In their last outing against Memphis on December 16th, MIA lost by just two points in a closely contested battle where lead changes were frequent. The Hurricanes' resilience and ability to keep games close could pose a challenge for CLEM if they let their guard down.

But if we consider CLEM's performance on December 9th against TCU Horned Frogs in Toronto – another tight game with multiple lead changes – it becomes evident that CLEM knows how to handle pressure situations. They emerged victorious despite being tied six times throughout the match and experiencing thirteen lead changes.

With these past performances in mind, there is every reason to believe that Clemson has what it takes not only to compete but also potentially dominate Miami (FL) Hurricanes come game day.

Fans eager to support their team can catch all the action live on ESPN Networks as CLEM looks forward to defending home court advantage at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson on February 15th at 7:00 PM Eastern Time.
