The Clemson Tigers showcased an impressive performance on both ends of the court at Hank McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta. With a total of 70 points scored against Georgia Tech's 59, their offensive strategy was clear from the start. The team's efficiency rating stood out at 83 compared to Georgia Tech's 53, highlighting their effective playmaking and shooting accuracy.


Key players for Clemson included Jaeden Zackery, who led with an outstanding 21 points and demonstrated remarkable defensive skills with three steals. Ian Schieffelin also made significant contributions with 16 points and seven rebounds, alongside his six assists that fueled the team's offense throughout the game. Viktor Lakhin added another layer to Clemson’s attack by scoring 10 points and securing six rebounds.

Yellow Jackets' Effort Falls Short


Despite trailing behind for most of the game, Georgia Tech showed resilience in their gameplay. They managed to draw more fouls than Clemson and capitalized on free throws with a success rate of 74 percent. However, their overall field goal percentage was only at 35 percent compared to Clemson’s more efficient shooting rate.


Georgia Tech’s bench contributed significantly with 12 points but struggled to contain Clemson’s offensive drives leading to turnovers which became one of their major downfalls during this matchup.
