Tigers' Standout Performances


Ian Schieffelin led the charge for the Clemson Tigers with an impressive 23 points, bolstering his contribution with eight rebounds and three blocks. His shooting accuracy was on display as he hit 60 percent from the field and an exceptional 90 percent from the free-throw line. Chase Hunter also made significant contributions with 28 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and five steals. His performance was highlighted by a perfect free-throw percentage and two crucial blocks.


Chauncey Wiggins added to the team's efforts with 15 points and six rebounds. Despite facing challenges in field goal attempts, Wiggins managed to secure a perfect score from the free-throw line.


Yellow Jackets' Counterattack


The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets countered effectively throughout this intense matchup. Their offensive strategy paid off as they managed to secure a win despite being pushed into multiple overtimes by a determined Clemson team. The Yellow Jackets were led by their ability to capitalize on second-chance points totaling 29 and maintained control of the paint with 44 points scored within that area.


Their defense played a pivotal role as well; despite accumulating fewer blocks than Clemson (3 compared to Clemson's 8), they executed timely steals (7) which contributed significantly to their victory.
