This included ten offensive rebounds which contributed to ten second-chance points for Colorado. However, turnovers proved costly for them as they gave up twenty possessions which led to seven points off turnovers for Arizona State.

Arizona State's defensive efforts were highlighted by fourteen steals and three blocks contributing significantly to their victory. Their offense was marked by efficiency inside with fifty-four percent shooting on two-point field goals and twenty-six points scored in paint area despite struggling from long range where they shot just nineteen percent.

As both teams fought hard through six lead changes and two ties during playtime, it was ultimately Arizona State that managed to secure more points off turnovers totaling twenty-two compared to seven by Colorado.
