In a game that saw the CU Events Center filled with 7,518 spectators, the home team displayed an impressive offensive performance. The Buffaloes shot an outstanding 53 percent from the field compared to the Cardinal's 44 percent. Notably, Colorado excelled in points in the paint, tallying up to 42 against Stanford's 34.

The Buffaloes' fast break execution was particularly lethal; they outscored their opponents by a significant margin of 20 to four in fast break points. This aspect of play underscored their aggressive and effective transition game throughout both halves.

Colorado also dominated on defense with six steals and three blocks, showcasing their ability to disrupt Stanford's offense effectively. Their defensive prowess was further highlighted by securing more rebounds than their opponents – totaling at 38 rebounds compared to Stanford’s lesser count of 27.

A key factor contributing to Colorado’s success was their superior ball distribution which resulted in them amassing a total of 17 assists. This teamwork contrasted sharply with Stanford’s lower assist count at just thirteen for the game.

The three-point line also favored Colorado as they converted on eleven out of twenty-five attempts which translates into a solid forty-four percent shooting from beyond the arc. In comparison, Stanford struggled from deep range making only seven out of twenty-eight attempts for a mere twenty-five percent accuracy rate.

Despite committing more personal fouls (16) than Stanford (13), it did not significantly hinder Colorado as they managed to maintain control throughout most aspects of play including second-chance points where they led thirteen to four.

Looking ahead after this conference victory, fans can catch the next action-packed encounter featuring The Colorado Buffaloes as they visit Matthew Knight Arena on March seventh at six PM Mountain Time against Oregon Ducks. This upcoming match will be broadcast live on ESPN2 for fans eager to follow along as The Buffaloes continue their campaign.
