Colorado State Rams Dominate at Moby Arena Against Weber State Wildcats

In a display of offensive efficiency, the Colorado State Rams secured a commanding victory over the Weber State Wildcats with a final score of 77-52. The Rams' season record now stands at an impressive 2-1, while the Wildcats fall to 1-2. The game unfolded at Moby Arena in Fort Collins, where fans witnessed the home team's prowess on both ends of the court.

The Colorado State Rams showcased their scoring ability early on, ending the first half with a solid lead thanks to their 36 points against the Wildcats' 15. As play resumed, they continued to extend their advantage by adding another 41 points in the second half. The Rams' shooting was particularly notable; they achieved a field goal percentage of about 54 and were especially lethal from beyond the arc, hitting an impressive rate of around 50 percent for three-pointers.

Defensively, Colorado State was just as formidable. They amassed ten steals and blocked three shots over the course of play. This defensive pressure contributed to Weber State turning over possession fifteen times and only managing nine points off turnovers compared to Colorado State's twenty-three.

The home team also excelled in ball distribution with twenty assists leading to scores throughout the game—an assist-to-turnover ratio exceeding two—demonstrating their effective teamwork and communication on court. Moreover, despite being slightly outrebounded by Weber State's thirty-six rebounds compared to their thirty-three, it did little to hinder their overall performance.

Weber State struggled offensively against Colorado State's defense; they shot approximately only 34 percent from field goals and about 21 percent from three-point range. Their efforts inside were met with resistance as well; they scored twelve points in paint while allowing double that amount (thirty-six) by Colorado State.

As for individual performances from Weber state players: there were six successful three-point shots made out of twenty-eight attempts which contributed eighteen points but this wasn't enough against eleven made by CSU out of twenty-two attempts contributing thirty-three points for them.

Looking ahead after this convincing win at home, fans can anticipate watching CSU take on South Carolina Gamecocks next week at TD Arena located in Charleston. Scheduled for November seventeenth at five PM Eastern Time (ET), supporters can tune into ESPNU channel two hundred eight nationally for live coverage as these teams face off on court.
