Moby Arena Showdown: Colorado State Rams vs Boise State Broncos

As the Colorado State Rams prepare to welcome the Boise State Broncos to Moby Arena, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be a riveting matchup. The Rams, coming off a series of impressive performances, look poised to continue their winning ways on their home court.

In their last outing on December 23 against Loyola Marymount Lions at Gersten Pavilion, the Rams secured a solid victory with a score of 76-67. Their offense was firing on all cylinders, shooting an impressive 57 percent from the field and an exceptional 69 percent from inside the arc. The team also showcased its playmaking abilities with 21 assists and capitalized on turnovers by scoring 16 points off them.

The defensive prowess of CSU cannot be overlooked either; they managed three blocks and steals each while holding LMU to just over 40 percent shooting from two-point range. This defensive intensity will be crucial when facing BSU's sharpshooters.

Earlier in December, CSU demonstrated their dominance in front of a home crowd by dismantling CSU-Pueblo Thunderwolves with an emphatic scoreline of 86-54 at Moby Arena. The game highlighted CSU's ability to convert defense into offense as they racked up an astonishing 15 steals leading to 31 points off turnovers. Their fast-paced attack resulted in scoring 20 fast break points and outrebounding their opponents by ten boards.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for CSU this season; they faced adversity against Saint Mary's Gaels where they fell short by three points in a tightly contested game that ended at 64-61. Despite this setback, there were positives such as maintaining high free throw accuracy (87 percent) and showing resilience through multiple lead changes.

Looking ahead at the upcoming game scheduled for January 16th at Moby Arena, it is evident that if CSU can maintain their offensive efficiency and aggressive defense seen in past games while feeding off the energy of their home fans – who have been turning out in large numbers – they stand a good chance against BSU.

The Broncos should not be underestimated though; any lapse in concentration or execution from CSU could swing momentum in favor of the visiting team. It will be essential for CSU players like David Roddy and Isaiah Stevens who have been instrumental this season so far to step up once again if they wish to secure victory over BSU.

Fans eager not only for victory but also for witnessing another exhilarating display should mark their calendars for January 16th when tip-off is set for noon local time (6 PM GMT). With no broadcast networks listed yet, die-hard supporters should look forward to catching live action directly from Moby Arena where every dribble counts towards securing another win on home turf.
