Moby Arena Showdown: Colorado State Rams Prepare for San Diego State Aztecs

As the Colorado State Rams prepare to host the San Diego State Aztecs at Moby Arena, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be a riveting matchup. The Rams' performance against Loyola Marymount on December 23rd was nothing short of impressive. Dominating the game with 76 points and an exceptional field goal percentage of 57, they outplayed LMU in almost every aspect. Their two-point shooting was particularly notable at an astounding 69 percent accuracy, underscoring their ability to penetrate defenses and finish strong around the rim.

Defense has also been a key component of CSU's strategy. In their game against CSU-Pueblo on December 17th, they racked up an impressive number of steals (15) and blocks (5), which translated into fast break opportunities where they scored 20 points. This defensive tenacity resulted in a commanding victory with an 86-point finish for the Rams.

However, it would be remiss not to acknowledge that even strong teams have off days. The game against Saint Mary's Gaels on December 9th saw the Rams fall short by three points in a closely contested battle where both teams fought hard until the final buzzer sounded. Despite this setback, it is important to note that CSU still managed an admirable free throw percentage of 87 percent during that game.

Looking ahead at the upcoming face-off with SDSU, there is reason for optimism among Ram fans. While acknowledging SDSU's competitive spirit and skill set, it is clear that CSU has shown resilience and adaptability throughout this season which could very well tip the scales in their favor once more when playing under familiar lights at Moby Arena.
