Colorado State Rams Edged Out in Overtime Nail-Biter at Wyoming

The game took place at Arena-Auditorium in Laramie, where 7,133 fans witnessed a contest filled with lead changes and ties. Throughout regulation time, the scoreboard reflected the intensity on court with nine instances where scores were level and fourteen lead changes keeping fans on edge.


The Colorado State Rams showcased resilience as they fought back from a first-half deficit to tie the game by full-time. They scored 28 points in the first half and improved to add another 37 points by second half's end before pushing into overtime with an additional 11 points. Their field goal percentage for the night was recorded at 41 percent from an attempt of 69 shots.


Key players for the Rams stepped up when it mattered most; their efforts were evident across various aspects of their gameplay. They accumulated a total of six steals and three blocks defensively while also contributing fourteen assists on offense. However, personal fouls seemed to be an area of concern as they racked up twenty-five throughout the game leading to one player being fouled out.


In terms of shooting accuracy, Colorado State made ten out of twenty-nine three-point attempts resulting in a three-point percentage rounded off to thirty-four percent. Inside the paint was another story as they managed twenty-eight points reflecting their determination under pressure.


Rebounding was another strong suit for Colorado State who gathered forty-six rebounds over Wyoming's forty-one; this included nine offensive rebounds which contributed significantly towards ten second-chance points.


Despite these commendable efforts by Colorado State players, it wasn't enough to secure victory against Wyoming who had slightly better shooting efficiency inside with fifty-six percent two-point shooting accuracy compared to Colorado State's forty-five percent.
