Looking back at Colorado State's recent performances, there's much to be optimistic about. On December 23rd against Loyola Marymount, CSU showcased their offensive might by putting up 76 points with a remarkable field goal percentage of 57 and an even more impressive two-point shooting percentage of 69. Their ability to score in the paint was evident as they racked up 36 points in that area alone.

But it wasn't just their scoring that caught attention; CSU also demonstrated a well-rounded game with a total of 21 assists and a solid defensive effort that included three blocks and three steals. This kind of balanced attack will be crucial when facing USU.

In another notable performance against CSU-Pueblo on December 17th, CSU dominated with an astounding victory margin, hammering home an emphatic 86 points while stifling their opponents to just 54. Their defense was relentless, racking up an incredible fifteen steals which translated into fast break opportunities where they outscored CSUP by thirteen points.

However, not all games have been smooth sailing for the Rams. A closer encounter with Saint Mary's on December 9th saw them fall short by three points in a tightly contested game where both teams exchanged leads nine times. Despite this setback, there were positives to take away – particularly their free throw accuracy which stood at an excellent rate of 87 percent.

The upcoming game against USU is expected to test CSU's resolve once again. The Aggies come into this contest knowing full well what it takes to win tough games and will look for every opportunity to disrupt the rhythm that has been serving Colorado State so well.

For fans looking forward to witnessing this battle unfold live or from home, mark your calendars for February 17th at Moby Arena in Fort Collins – tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM local time (Mountain Time Zone). CBS Sports Network will broadcast this thrilling encounter nationally on channel number two hundred twenty-one for those who prefer watching from comfort zones across America.
