Colorado State Rams Set to Lock Horns with UNLV Runnin' Rebels at Thomas & Mack

As the Colorado State Rams gear up for their next challenge against the UNLV Runnin' Rebels, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The upcoming clash at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas promises to be a spectacle of skill and strategy, but it's the performance of CSU that has everyone talking.

The Rams have been on a commendable streak, showcasing their prowess in recent games. Their victory over San Jose State Spartans on February 10th was a display of dominance, as they outscored the Spartans 66-47. The statistics speak volumes: CSU boasted an impressive 49 percent field goal percentage and an even more remarkable 83 percent from the free-throw line. Their assists-to-turnover ratio stood at a solid 2.18, indicating smart ball-handling and teamwork.

Another testament to their strength was evident in their game against Boise State Broncos on February 7th. The Rams emerged victorious with a score of 75-62, once again demonstrating their offensive efficiency by shooting an astounding 56 percent from the field and an almost perfect 90 percent from the charity stripe.

CSU's most recent away game against Fresno State Bulldogs saw them maintain consistency in performance with a strong finish at 73-61. They excelled with a field goal percentage of 53 and were flawless from the free-throw line, hitting all eight attempts.

What stands out about CSU is not just their scoring ability but also how they've been controlling games through rebounds and turnovers. Against both San Jose State and Boise State, they matched or exceeded their opponents in total rebounds while maintaining lower personal fouls – showing discipline without sacrificing aggression.

The UNLV Runnin' Rebels will undoubtedly pose challenges for CSU; however, given recent performances by both teams, it seems likely that Colorado State's momentum might just carry them through this encounter as well. While UNLV will have home-court advantage and will certainly look to leverage that benefit fully, CSU has shown resilience on both ends of the court which could prove pivotal in overcoming any such edge.

Fans should mark their calendars for February 24th when these two teams face off at precisely six o'clock in Las Vegas time zone (Mountain Standard Time). This game is not only crucial for conference standings but also serves as another opportunity for Colorado State to cement its reputation as one of the formidable forces this season. For those unable to attend in person at Thomas & Mack Center can catch all action live nationally on CBS Sports Network channel number two hundred twenty-one.
