As the Duke Blue Devils prepare to host the Syracuse Orange at Cameron Indoor Stadium, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be an electrifying game of basketball. The Blue Devils have been on a formidable run, showcasing their prowess in a recent game against Baylor Bears on December 21st. Despite facing the 10th ranked team, Duke emerged victorious with a score of 78-70. Their offense was firing on all cylinders, shooting an impressive 49 percent from the field and an outstanding 83 percent from the free-throw line. Moreover, their defensive efforts cannot be overlooked as they racked up eight steals and capitalized on turnovers by scoring 13 points off them.

Duke's performance against Hofstra Pride on December 13th further cements their status as contenders. They dominated with an overwhelming score of 89-68. The team's offensive efficiency was evident as they shot a remarkable 55 percent from the field and were lethal from beyond the arc with a three-point shooting percentage of 50. Their playmaking abilities shone through with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.2.

Against Charlotte 49ers earlier in December, Duke continued to display their dominance at home by securing an emphatic win with a scoreline of 80-56. Their fast-paced style resulted in them outscoring Charlotte in fast-break points by more than double.

Looking ahead to their matchup against Syracuse Orange, it's clear that DUKE has momentum on its side along with home-court advantage which has proven pivotal this season. While respecting Syracuse’s capabilities is essential – after all, any given game can sway unpredictably – it’s hard not to lean towards predicting another strong showing for DUKE based on current form.

Syracuse will need to bring exceptional defense and disrupt DUKE’s rhythm if they hope to stand a chance at Cameron Indoor Stadium; however, given DUKE’s recent performances where they've shown versatility both offensively and defensively while maintaining high energy levels throughout games suggests that overcoming them will be no small feat for any opponent.

Fans eager not only for victory but also for witnessing high-quality basketball should mark their calendars for January third when these two teams face off at nine PM Eastern Time in Durham NC at Cameron Indoor Stadium – available live via ESPN Networks broadcast channels.
