Duke Blue Devils Dominate at Cameron Indoor Stadium Against Dartmouth in Men's Basketball

At Cameron Indoor Stadium, the home crowd witnessed the Duke Blue Devils' remarkable offensive performance against Dartmouth Big Green. The Blue Devils showcased their scoring efficiency early on, ending the first half with 42 points to Dartmouth's 21. They continued to extend their lead in the second half by adding another 50 points to their tally.

The home team's shooting was particularly noteworthy as they made an outstanding 73 percent of their two-point attempts and shot an impressive 64 percent from the field overall. Their three-point shooting also contributed significantly to their scoring surge, hitting seven out of seventeen attempts for a solid 41 percent conversion rate.

Defensively, Duke was just as dominant. They amassed six blocks and six steals over the course of play, which helped limit Dartmouth's scoring opportunities and disrupt their offensive flow. The defensive pressure applied by Duke resulted in a total of eighteen points off turnovers.

On top of that defensive prowess, Duke excelled in distributing the ball effectively throughout the game; they finished with eighteen assists compared to only nine turnovers—an assist-to-turnover ratio that speaks volumes about their control over gameplay.

Dartmouth struggled to find its rhythm against Duke’s robust defense but managed to make some headway inside by scoring twenty-four points in paint. However, they were less successful from beyond the arc where they only converted four out of eighteen three-point shots for a mere twenty-two percent success rate.

The rebounding battle was also won by Duke who collected thirty-three rebounds against Dartmouth’s twenty-nine. This included securing twenty-six defensive rebounds which further limited second-chance opportunities for Dartmouth.

As fans look ahead after this convincing performance by Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium, attention turns toward future matchups on schedule. The next challenge for the Blue Devils will be facing Arizona Wildcats at home once again at Cameron Indoor Stadium on November 11th at midnight Eastern Time Zone (ET).
