Game Highlights

The Blue Devils' performance was nothing short of spectacular, showcasing their depth and skill across the board. With a total of 97 points scored against the Hurricanes' 60, Duke's offensive strategy was on full display. The team's efficiency from both inside and beyond the arc was a critical factor in their success. Shooting at an impressive 56 percent from the field and an outstanding 60 percent from three-point range highlighted their shooting prowess.

Key players for Duke included Kon Knueppel, who led with 20 points, complemented by his remarkable three-point shooting accuracy of 80 percent. Cooper Flagg also made significant contributions with 16 points and six assists, demonstrating his all-around game. Patrick Ngongba’s presence in the paint was notable as well; he added nine points along with four rebounds and one block to his name.

On defense, Duke managed to stifle Miami's offense effectively. The team recorded ten steals and four blocks, disrupting Miami’s flow and converting turnovers into valuable points offensively. Their defensive efforts limited Miami to just 39 percent shooting from the field.

Miami (FL) Hurricanes Efforts

Despite facing a tough opponent, The Hurricanes showed moments of resilience but ultimately could not overcome Duke’s dominance on both ends of the floor. They managed to score most of their points in paint like Duke but were less efficient overall compared to their counterparts.

The home team struggled particularly from beyond the arc, converting only five out of twenty-five attempts which significantly impacted their ability to keep pace with Duke’s scoring runs.
