Can the East Carolina Clutch Free Throws Seal Victory at Bartow Arena?

The East Carolina Pirates faced off against the UAB Blazers in a tightly contested conference game, with the Pirates falling short 61-69. The Pirates now stand at a record of 0-1, while the Blazers improved to 1-0.

In an intense battle at Bartow Arena, the East Carolina Pirates displayed a resilient performance despite being edged out by the UAB Blazers. The Pirates opened strong, leading with 35 points in the first half compared to the Blazers' 32. However, momentum shifted as they were outscored in the second half, adding only 26 points to their tally against UAB's 37.

East Carolina's offense was led by their ability to convert from beyond the arc and from free throw line.
