The FAU Owls have been demonstrating a solid performance on the court this season. Their recent game on February 3rd against UAB Blazers ended with a close score of 77-86, despite their defeat. The Owls showed resilience throughout the match, maintaining an impressive free throw percentage of 87 percent and scoring a substantial number of points in paint (40). However, they struggled from beyond the arc with only a three-point shooting percentage of 22 percent.

In contrast, during their January 28th home game against Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, FAU emerged victorious with a scoreline of 70-63. Their defense was notably stronger; they managed to block two shots and made five steals which contributed significantly to their win. Moreover, they capitalized on fast breaks scoring fourteen points and had an assist-turnover ratio of over one.

The Owls' offensive strategy has been commendable as well; particularly noteworthy was their performance on January 27th against Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders where they secured an emphatic win with an impressive final score of 85-67. The team excelled in field goal percentage (53 percent) and two-point shooting (66 percent), which were pivotal factors in their triumph.

While FAU has shown some inconsistencies in recent games, it is evident that when they play cohesively as a unit—balancing strong defense with effective offense—they can dominate on court.

On the other side of the court stands CHAR who will be looking to leverage home advantage and counteract FAU’s strategies effectively. Fans should keep an eye out for how well FAU manages ball possession and whether they can improve upon their three-point shooting accuracy which could be crucial in determining this match’s outcome.

With both teams gearing up for this clash at Dale F. Halton Arena, fans are encouraged not to miss any action-packed moments by tuning into ESPN+ where live coverage will be available online.

Remember Owls supporters: mark your calendars for February 4th at four o'clock PM EST when Florida Atlantic takes on Charlotte – it's going to be one memorable battle worth watching!
