At FAU Arena, the Florida Atlantic Owls showcased their dominance over the visiting Panthers from start to finish. The home team's offensive efforts were particularly impressive as they managed to shoot an exceptional 61 percent from two-point range and 44 percent overall from the field. Their prowess was not limited to shooting alone; they also excelled at passing, tallying up a total of 17 assists throughout the game.

The Owls' defense was equally formidable. They amassed a total of ten steals and capitalized on turnovers by scoring 27 points off them. This defensive pressure contributed significantly to their lead as it limited the Panthers' opportunities to score.

On top of their defensive achievements, Florida Atlantic was relentless on both ends of the court when it came to rebounding. They outrebounded their opponents by a significant margin with 42 rebounds compared to just 26 for FIU. This included an impressive number of offensive rebounds by FAU which stood at fourteen leading to seventeen second-chance points.

While FIU struggled with accuracy beyond the arc with only an eleven percent three-point shooting percentage, they did manage better efficiency inside with nearly forty-nine percent success on two-point attempts and scored thirty-two points in paint.

Despite these efforts by FIU and scoring ten fast break points against FAU’s eleven, it wasn't enough to overcome Florida Atlantic's robust gameplay which featured seven made three-pointers contributing towards their seventy-nine total game points.

As fans look forward toward future matchups for their beloved team, they can mark their calendars for an exciting encounter as The Florida Atlantic Owls are set to host Northern Kentucky Norse at FAU Arena in Boca Raton on December twenty-second.
