Florida Atlantic Owls Secure Victory Against Bryant Bulldogs at FAU Arena in Men's Basketball

The Florida Atlantic Owls emerged victorious with a record of 85-74 over the Bryant Bulldogs at the FAU Arena. The home team's performance was marked by a strong second half, where they outscored their opponents 48 to 39, after a closely contested first half that ended with the Owls slightly ahead at 37 to 35.

The Owls showcased an impressive offensive game, converting more than half of their two-point attempts with a success rate of fifty-three percent. Their overall field goal percentage stood at forty-two percent as they made twenty-six out of sixty-two attempts. From beyond the arc, they shot thirty percent, sinking nine three-pointers.


Defensively, the Florida Atlantic team also excelled; they tallied four blocks and nine steals throughout the game. The defensive efforts were complemented by thirty defensive rebounds which contributed to their total rebound count of thirty-nine against Bryant Bulldogs' fifty-one.


In terms of ball handling and teamwork, Florida Atlantic recorded fourteen assists while keeping turnovers to fourteen—a ratio that reflects efficient playmaking. They capitalized on turnovers by scoring twenty points off them and added seventeen fast break points to keep up the pressure on Bryant.


The visiting Bulldogs struggled in comparison but had moments where they shone through individual efforts and hustle plays. They managed eight three-pointers on a thirty-five percent shooting from long range and fought hard in paint scoring thirty-four points there. Despite committing twenty-one turnovers, Bryant managed twelve assists during the game but fell short in converting opportunities into points as reflected by their lower assist-to-turnover ratio compared to that of Florida Atlantic.


As for free throws, both teams showed similar accuracy with seventy-one percent for Florida Atlantic making twenty-four free throws while Bryant made fourteen at seventy percent accuracy.
