The game held at Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center saw both teams locked in an intense battle, with six times tied and nine lead changes throughout the contest. The home crowd of 7,180 spectators witnessed a game that was anything but predictable.

The Florida Atlantic Owls showcased their offensive skills by sinking 13 three-pointers out of 24 attempts, translating to an impressive three-point percentage of 54. Their overall field goal percentage stood at 42 as they made 29 out of their total 69 attempts from the field. Inside the paint, they managed to put up 32 points against their opponents.

Defensively, the Owls were also active on the court with seven steals and three blocks contributing to their efforts. They capitalized on turnovers by scoring ten points off them and maintained control with only nine turnovers themselves compared to twelve by the Gators.

On top of that, fast breaks were a significant part of their game plan; they scored an outstanding number of fast break points totaling up to 21. This high-paced approach kept pressure on their opponents throughout both halves.

Rebounding was another area where the Owls excelled; they grabbed a total number of rebounds amounting to thirty-seven which included four offensive rebounds giving them second-chance opportunities that resulted in five additional points for them.

Assists are often indicative of good teamwork and ball movement; here too, Florida Atlantic did well with seventeen assists over two halves which reflected positively on their assist-to-turnover ratio standing at around two.

On free throws front though not many were attempted only seven but out those five found net giving them free throw percentage just above seventy-one percent mark which is decent enough considering overall context match where every point mattered towards end result being so close between two sides competing fiercely till last buzzer sounded off signaling end this exciting encounter between these rival schools from Sunshine State.

Looking ahead for fans following FAU's journey through season next challenge awaits form Bryant Bulldogs who will be visiting FAU Arena located Boca Raton come November eighteenth evening time broadcasted via CUSA TV internet network ensuring supporters won't miss any action as these teams face each other upcoming fixture calendar.
