Owls Eye Victory in New Orleans: Florida Atlantic Set to Challenge Tulane

As the Florida Atlantic Owls prepare to swoop into Devlin Fieldhouse for their next game against the Tulane Green Wave, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The Owls have been showing a mix of grit and grace on the court, and their upcoming clash on January 11th is shaping up to be a spectacle of skill and strategy.

Tulane Green Wave VS Florida Atlantic Owls

The Owls' recent performance has been nothing short of impressive. Despite a narrow loss to the Charlotte 49ers on January 6th, where they scored 68 points, their resilience was evident. They managed an assist-turnover ratio of just over half at 0.56, which suggests that ball handling could be sharper going forward. However, they did excel in converting two-point attempts with a success rate of 53 percent and were also solid from the free-throw line at an impressive 85 percent accuracy.

In contrast, when playing at home against East Carolina Pirates earlier that month, FAU showcased why they're considered formidable opponents this season. Dominating with a final score of 79-64 in favor of FAU, they demonstrated exceptional teamwork with an astounding assist count of 21 leading to an assists-turnover ratio that more than quadrupled their previous outing at 2.63.

Moreover, FAU's ability to control the paint was evident as they racked up significant points inside while also maintaining defensive pressure that resulted in seven steals and one block during that game.

However, it's not just about offense for FAU; defense will play a crucial role against Tulane Green Wave's attack. The Owls will need to replicate their defensive rebounding performance from December against Florida Gulf Coast Eagles where they grabbed an impressive total rebound count of 42.

Tulane Green Wave won't make it easy though; as hosts at Devlin Fieldhouse come January 11th at precisely seven o'clock in the evening local time (Eastern Time), they'll look to leverage home-court advantage fully.

FAU fans eager for action can tune into ESPN2 channel number two hundred nine for national coverage or join fellow supporters in New Orleans if travel permits – either way; it promises to be another thrilling chapter in this season's story.
