In an intense match that extended into overtime at the UTSA Convocation Center in San Antonio, Texas, the Florida Atlantic Owls showcased their offensive capabilities by scoring a remarkable 112 points. The team's performance was bolstered by their sharpshooting from beyond the arc, converting on 17 out of 35 three-point attempts for a solid three-point percentage of around 49 percent. Their field goal percentage was also notable at approximately 52 percent with successful execution on both ends of the court.

The Owls' defense was just as formidable as their offense; they amassed four blocks and seven steals over the course of play. This defensive pressure contributed to twenty points off turnovers and helped maintain control throughout various stages of the game.

Assists were another strong point for Florida Atlantic as they dished out twenty-one assists leading to an impressive assist-to-turnover ratio of about three. This statistic underscores their effective ball movement and teamwork during this high-scoring affair.

On individual performances, it's worth highlighting that one player from each team fouled out during this heated contest. Despite this setback and committing twenty-five personal fouls overall, which is one more than their opponents', Florida Atlantic managed to keep its composure under pressure.

Rebounding played a crucial role in securing second-chance opportunities for both teams; however, it was particularly impactful for Florida Atlantic who grabbed thirty-eight rebounds in total—ten offensive and twenty-eight defensive ones—contributing significantly to twelve second-chance points.

As fans look forward to future games, they can anticipate watching their team continue its campaign on January 24th when Florida Atlantic will face off against Rice Owls at Tudor Fieldhouse in Houston. The game is scheduled for an evening start time and will be available for viewing on ESPN+ via internet broadcast networks.
