Owls' Efforts and Highlights


The Florida Atlantic Owls showcased resilience and teamwork throughout the match. Kaleb Glenn emerged as a significant contributor for the team, scoring 13 points and securing 8 rebounds, alongside an impressive block that added to his overall efficiency game score of 11.3. KyKy Tandy also stood out with his performance by leading his team in scoring with 14 points on an efficient shooting night from both inside and beyond the arc.


Tre Carroll was another notable player for the Owls; he led all scorers with 20 points while grabbing 7 rebounds. His performance was crucial in keeping the game within reach for Florida Atlantic University (FAU). Despite facing stiff competition from UAB's defense, Carroll managed to maintain a solid field goal percentage of 40 percent and excelled at free throws by making 80 percent of his attempts.


Blazers' Counterattack


On the opposing side, UAB Blazers demonstrated why they are considered one of the formidable teams this season. Their balanced attack was evident as they managed to distribute their scoring across various players effectively. The Blazers capitalized on fast break opportunities which contributed significantly to their total score of 81 points.


UAB's defensive efforts were equally impressive; they recorded two blocks and four steals that disrupted FAU's offensive flow at critical moments during the game. Furthermore, their bench played an essential role by contributing nineteen points towards their victory.
