Owls' Offensive Onslaught

The Florida Atlantic Owls showcased an exceptional offensive performance against the UTSA Roadrunners. With a remarkable 54 percent field goal percentage and converting 50 percent from beyond the arc, they demonstrated their efficiency and versatility in scoring. The team's ability to capitalize on fast-break opportunities was evident as they amassed 21 fast break points, contributing significantly to their overall score.

KyKy Tandy emerged as a standout player for the Owls, leading with an impressive 26 points while maintaining an astounding 82 percent field goal percentage. His performance from three-point range was particularly noteworthy, hitting 80 percent of his shots from deep. Baba Miller also made significant contributions with his all-around game, dishing out 11 assists alongside scoring 10 points and grabbing seven rebounds.

Roadrunners' Struggle

The UTSA Roadrunners faced challenges in finding their rhythm against a well-organized Owls defense. They managed to shoot only 38 percent from the field and struggled from two-point range with just a 32 percent success rate. Despite these difficulties, they showed proficiency from the free-throw line by making 89 percent of their attempts.

The Roadrunners were led by efforts that saw them trying to keep up through three-point shooting where they hit at a rate of about half but ultimately fell short due to turnovers and less effective defense compared to Florida Atlantic's robust performance.
