The Gators started strong in the first half with 30 points but fell behind as the game progressed. Despite their efforts, they could not keep up with the scoring pace set by Auburn. The second half saw an improved performance from Florida, adding another 37 points to their tally; however, it was not enough to bridge the gap as Auburn extended their lead with an additional 48 points.

Florida's offense struggled throughout the game, shooting at a mere 36 percent from the field and an abysmal eight percent from beyond the arc. Their free throw accuracy was one of their few bright spots at 72 percent. Inside scoring was more effective for them as they amassed a notable total of 42 points in paint.

On defense, Florida managed six blocks and eight steals but gave up ten blocked attempts to Auburn's staunch defense. Rebounding was evenly matched on both sides with each team grabbing a total of 39 rebounds; however, Florida's offensive boards were limited to just twelve compared to Auburn's four.

Auburn displayed superior ball movement and execution which is evident from their eighteen assists compared to nine by Florida. The Tigers also capitalized on turnovers better than Florida did – scoring eighteen points off turnovers while allowing only fourteen.

The standout statistic for Florida was fast break points where they outscored Auburn by thirteen – showcasing moments of quick transitions that led to easy baskets totaling twenty-three fast break points for them against ten for Auburn.

Despite these efforts by Florida Gators players and coaching staff alike at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville before an attendance of eighteen thousand five hundred thirty-two spectators at nine o'clock Central Time Zone (CT), it wasn't sufficient against a well-prepared twelfth-ranked opponent like Auburn Tigers who executed their game plan effectively across both halves.

As fans look forward to future games hoping for better outcomes, they can catch upcoming broadcasts featuring University of Florida teams as they continue striving towards success on court after this challenging championship encounter.
