Florida International Panthers VS Western Kentucky Hilltoppers

The Florida International Panthers showcased their defensive skills with an impressive count of 13 steals and blocked six shots during the game. Despite their efforts on defense, they struggled offensively, shooting at 35 percent from the field and making only six out of 23 attempts from beyond the arc which translates to a three-point percentage of around 26 percent. The team's free-throw performance was relatively better as they made nine out of thirteen attempts.

On offense, points in paint were evenly matched between both teams at 26 each; however, second-chance points favored the Panthers who scored twelve compared to seven by their opponents. The fast break also seemed to be an area where Florida International had some success scoring nine fast break points.

The home team capitalized on their opportunities more efficiently than their visitors from Miami did; Western Kentucky shot nearly 47 percent overall and excelled from three-point range hitting nine out of twenty for an impressive approximate percentage of 45 percent from downtown.

Florida International fought hard on rebounds but ultimately fell short as they gathered a total rebound count of thirty-three against thirty-nine by Western Kentucky. Both teams were almost even when it came to turnovers; however, each team managed to convert these into nineteen points off turnovers.

Looking ahead for fans of the Florida International Panthers is another opportunity for redemption as they prepare to host North Texas Mean Green at Ocean Bank Convocation Center in Miami on January seventeenth at seven o'clock Eastern Time. This upcoming game will be available for viewing on ESPN+, ensuring that supporters can follow every moment as it unfolds live.
