Florida International Panthers VS Western Kentucky Hilltoppers

At E. A. Diddle Arena, fans witnessed an offensive showcase as both teams put up impressive numbers on the scoreboard. The Florida International Panthers demonstrated their long-range capabilities by sinking 17 three-pointers at a notable 42 percent accuracy rate from beyond the arc. Their free throw performance was nearly flawless, with an exceptional success rate of 93 percent resulting in 14 made free throws out of 15 attempts.

Despite their efforts from distance and at the charity stripe, FIU struggled to match up inside, scoring only 26 points in the paint compared to Western Kentucky's dominant 58 points in that area. The Hilltoppers' two-point shooting was particularly effective; they hit an outstanding 67 percent of their shots from within the arc.

The Panthers showed tenacity on defense with a total of twelve steals and managed to block two shots during playtime. They also worked well as a unit on offense, dishing out nineteen assists over the course of action but were hindered by sixteen turnovers which translated into twenty-one points for Western Kentucky.

FIU's rebounding effort saw them grab thirty-one boards – sixteen defensive and nine offensive – contributing to sixteen second-chance points. However, this was overshadowed by Western Kentucky's thirty-seven total rebounds which included five offensive rebounds leading to ten second-chance points for them.

One standout statistic for FIU was their fast break performance where they accumulated eighteen fast break points demonstrating quick transitions during playtime but still fell short against Western Kentucky's twenty-eight fast break points.

Looking ahead after this intense conference game encounter, Florida International will aim to regroup as they prepare for their next challenge against Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders at Murphy Athletic Center located in Murfreesboro TN USA on January twenty-seventh at six PM Eastern Time zone fans can catch all action live via ESPN+ internet broadcast network ensuring they don't miss any upcoming gameplay moments from FIU as they look forward towards bouncing back into winning ways.
