The Florida State Seminoles faced a tough challenge against the Stetson Hatters at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, ending with a score of 74-83. The Seminoles now stand with an overall season record of 0-1, while the Hatters boast a record of 1-0.

The game was closely contested, with two times tied and two lead changes keeping fans on edge throughout the match. Despite their efforts, the Florida State Seminoles fell short by nine points against their opponents. The home team managed to secure 74 points during the game, which included an equal distribution across both halves with 37 points each.

The Seminoles demonstrated solid offensive plays inside the paint, scoring 34 points compared to their adversaries' 30. They also showed prowess from beyond the arc, sinking six three-pointers at a commendable rate of 43 percent accuracy. However, free throws proved problematic for Florida State as they only converted approximately half of their attempts from the line.

On defense, both teams were evenly matched with two blocks each; however, Stetson edged out in steals leading four to two over Florida State. The rebounding battle was narrowly won by Stetson as well; they collected a total of 38 rebounds while Florida State grabbed just one less at 35.

Stetson's offense was firing on all cylinders as they made nearly half their field goal attempts and shot an impressive forty percent from three-point range. Their free throw shooting was notably more effective than that of Florida State's – making almost seventy percent from the charity stripe.

Florida State capitalized on turnovers better than Stetson did by scoring seventeen points off turnovers compared to twelve by Stetson. Additionally, second-chance opportunities were maximized by Florida State who scored twenty second-chance points due in part to fourteen offensive rebounds.

Looking ahead for fans of The Seminoles: The next challenge will be away against UCF Knights at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando on November 11th at seven PM Eastern Time Zone (ET). This encounter can be watched live on ESPN+, ensuring supporters won't miss any action as The Seminoles seek to bounce back from this setback and secure their first win of the season.
