The Florida State Seminoles started strong, putting up 35 points in the first half and adding an impressive 57 points in the second. Their offensive efforts were led by a dominant performance inside, scoring 54 points in the paint and shooting an impressive 67 percent from two-point range. However, their three-point shooting was less effective, hitting only 16 percent of attempts from beyond the arc.

Defensively, Florida State managed to block six shots and came away with 11 steals but struggled to contain Louisville's offense which shot at a consistent rate throughout both halves. The Seminoles also committed a significant number of personal fouls totaling 34 for the game which contributed to their opponents' scoring through free throws.

On individual performances, turnovers were an issue for Florida State players who collectively turned over the ball 18 times. Despite this setback, they fought hard on rebounds with both defensive and offensive boards ending at totals of 21 and 11 respectively.

The Cardinals capitalized on turnovers scoring 22 points off them and showed precision from both field goal range (54 percent) and free throw line (80 percent). They also outperformed Florida State on assists with a total of thirteen compared to seven by the Seminoles.

Looking ahead for fans of Florida State basketball: The next game will be held at Silvio O. Conte Forum against Boston College Eagles on February 6th at 7:00 PM Eastern Time. This upcoming match can be watched live on ACC Network for those eager to follow along as FSU aims to bounce back after this challenging encounter.
