Florida State Seminoles Face Tough Challenge Against Ranked Clemson Tigers

In a recent face-off at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, the Florida State Seminoles encountered a formidable challenge against the 23rd ranked Clemson Tigers. Seminoles' Efforts and Highlights


Despite the challenging game, several players from Florida State showed commendable efforts on the court. Jamir Watkins emerged as a notable performer for the Seminoles, contributing 14 points and grabbing seven rebounds. His performance was highlighted by his efficiency from two-point range, where he shot 62 percent.


Malique Ewin also made significant contributions with six points and six rebounds, alongside two blocks that showcased his defensive capabilities. Ewin's performance in shooting was particularly efficient, making 60 percent of his attempts from within two-point range.


Daquan Davis added another layer of support for Florida State by scoring nine points and providing two assists. His ability to draw fouls was evident as he made 71 percent of his free throws, indicating his aggressiveness on offense.


Clemson Tigers' Dominant Performance


On the other side, Clemson demonstrated why they are ranked among the top teams this season. Their balanced attack was led by an efficient field goal percentage of 48 percent and an impressive three-point shooting percentage at 30 percent. The Tigers capitalized on turnovers, scoring 16 points off turnovers compared to eight by Florida State.


The depth of Clemson's roster was also on full display as their bench contributed significantly with 23 points. Their largest lead stretched to an imposing 27 points during the game, underlining their dominance throughout this matchup.
