The Fresno State Bulldogs showcased their resilience and offensive capabilities, particularly in the paint where they scored 44 points. Their shooting from within the arc was efficient, converting 56 percent of their two-point attempts. However, they struggled beyond the three-point line, making only 14 percent of those shots.

Defensively, Fresno State was formidable; they amassed seven blocks and six steals over the course of play. This defensive pressure contributed to turning over possession and scoring six points off turnovers. On top of that, they dominated on rebounds with a total count of 45 compared to San Diego's 33.

One standout statistic for Fresno State was their fast break performance – scoring an impressive 20 fast break points which kept them ahead in crucial moments. They also capitalized on second-chance opportunities by adding another significant tally of 16 points.

On individual performances, foul trouble did become an issue as one player fouled out during intense gameplay which saw both teams committing numerous personal fouls – Fresno State with nineteen and San Diego with twenty-two.

San Diego's effort should not go unnoticed as they managed to keep pace throughout most of the game. They were able to convert eight steals into sixteen points off turnovers and made five three-pointers at a rate of twenty-eight percent from beyond the arc.

As fans look forward to future matchups, attention turns towards an upcoming contest for Fresno State against San Diego State Aztecs at Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl on January third at seven-thirty PM Pacific Time. This game will be broadcast nationally on Fox Sports one channel two hundred nineteen for fans who wish to follow along live as it unfolds.
