Clash of the Titans: Bulldogs and Aztecs Set for Showdown at Save Mart

As the Fresno State Bulldogs prepare to host the San Diego State Aztecs at the Save Mart Center, fans are eager to see how their team will fare in this highly anticipated matchup. The Bulldogs have shown a mixed bag of results in their recent games, displaying both resilience and areas for improvement.

In their last game against Air Force, the Bulldogs edged out a narrow victory with 68 points over their opponent's 66. Their shooting was impressive with field goal percentages standing at 57 percent overall and an exceptional 62 percent from beyond the arc. However, turnovers were a concern as they gave up possession 19 times.

The previous game saw them secure another win against San Jose State with a score of 69-57. The team showed better control over ball possession with only seven turnovers and an assist-to-turnover ratio of nearly three, indicating efficient ball movement.

However, in an earlier encounter against Colorado State, Fresno State fell short by twelve points (73-61). Despite shooting well from the free-throw line at an impressive rate of 89 percent and maintaining a decent field goal percentage at 46 percent, turnovers once again proved costly as they recorded twelve on that occasion.

The upcoming game promises to be challenging as San Diego State brings its competitive edge to Fresno. The Bulldogs will need to capitalize on their home-court advantage while addressing turnover issues that have plagued them in past performances. Consistency from behind the three-point line could be key for them along with tightening up defense to minimize points off turnovers.
