Bulldogs and Cowboys Clash at Save Mart Center

As the Fresno State Bulldogs prepare to host the Wyoming Cowboys at the Save Mart Center, fans are eager to see if their team can turn around recent trends. The Bulldogs have had a challenging stretch in their last few games, showing some areas of concern that need addressing.

In their previous game against San Diego State Aztecs, the Bulldogs struggled significantly with shooting accuracy. They only managed a field goal percentage of 25 percent and were particularly weak from beyond the arc with an 18 percent three-point shooting performance. Their scoring was also low, putting up just 41 points compared to the Aztecs' 73.

However, looking back two games ago when they faced Boise State Broncos on enemy territory, there was an improvement in offense with a field goal percentage of 42 percent and a better three-point percentage at 37 percent. Despite these improvements, defense became an issue as they allowed a staggering 90 points.

The game before that saw them pitted against UNLV's Runnin' Rebels at home where they narrowly lost by two points but showed promise offensively with a field goal percentage of 47 percent and free throw accuracy standing strong at 78 percent.

The upcoming match is crucial for Fresno State as it presents an opportunity to capitalize on home-court advantage and reverse their fortunes. The team will need to focus on improving their shooting consistency while tightening up defensively if they want to secure victory over Wyoming Cowboys.

Fans can expect an intense battle as both teams vie for dominance in this conference matchup. With recent performances suggesting potential for offensive efficiency but also highlighting defensive vulnerabilities, it's set up to be an unpredictable showdown.

Mark your calendars for March 9th at 4:00 PM PST when Fresno State takes on Wyoming live from Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA. You can catch all the action on MW Network via internet broadcast.
