The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets demonstrated remarkable resilience and skill on the court. The team's offensive efforts were led by their ability to score 46 points in the paint, showcasing their dominance under the basket. With a two-point shooting percentage of 52, they efficiently utilized their opportunities close to the rim. Additionally, they capitalized on turnovers by scoring eight points off them and added another 19 through second-chance opportunities.

Defensively, Georgia Tech was just as formidable. They pulled down an astounding total of 46 rebounds, with 29 being defensive and contributing significantly to limiting second-chance points for Hawai'i. Their presence was also felt in terms of shot defense; recording four blocks and disrupting many of Hawai'i's attempts inside.

On special teams play, Georgia Tech made ten free throws out of fifteen attempts which translated into a free throw percentage of approximately 67 percent – crucial points that helped seal their victory.

The Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors put up a valiant fight but fell short despite out-assisting Georgia Tech with twelve assists to eleven and stealing possession twice more than their opponents did. They managed to convert only six out of twenty-six three-point attempts resulting in a three-point shooting percentage near 23 percent which hindered their ability to keep pace with Georgia Tech’s scoring.

Despite trailing at halftime with only twenty-seven points compared to Georgia Tech’s forty-three, Hawai’i rallied back in the second half adding forty-one more but couldn’t overcome the deficit established earlier in the game.

Looking ahead for fans of The Yellow Jackets: mark your calendars for December 25th when they will take on Nevada Wolf Pack at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center once again. This upcoming match is scheduled for an early morning tip-off at 2:00 AM Eastern Time and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN channel two hundred six – ensuring fans won't miss any action from this exciting matchup right from Honolulu.
