Analyzing past games, the Yellow Jackets have shown a mixed bag of results but with promising aspects in their play style. In their last game against Nevada's Wolf Pack, they fell short by 8 points, scoring 64 compared to Nevada's 72. Despite this loss, there were positive takeaways; they had a solid two-point completion rate of 52 percent and managed to convert 67 percent of free throws. However, three-point shots were not falling as hoped with only a 23 percent success rate.

In an earlier match-up against Hawai'i's Rainbow Warriors, Georgia Tech emerged victorious with a scoreline of 73-68. Their performance was marked by an impressive inside game where they scored heavily in the paint and maintained a two-point shooting percentage identical to that against Nevada (52 percent). They also showcased better control over turnovers and capitalized on fast-break opportunities.

The trend continued in another game where Georgia Tech again scored 73 points but this time conceded fewer (70) against UMass Minutemen. Their aggressive play resulted in high fast-break points (23) and an excellent free throw percentage at an impressive 86 percent.

Heading into Tallahassee, it will be crucial for Georgia Tech to maintain these strengths while addressing areas such as three-point shooting efficiency and ball handling under pressure – turnovers have been fluctuating across games.

Fans can catch all the action live on January 4th via ACC Network channel number 612 or attend in person at Donald L. Tucker Civic Center located in Tallahassee, FL – ensuring they don't miss any part of what promises to be an enthralling encounter between these two teams.
