In their last outing against the Duke Blue Devils, despite a strong showing that saw them rack up 79 points with an impressive 54 percent shooting from both field goals and two-point range, they fell just short as Duke edged out an 84-79 victory. The Yellow Jackets demonstrated a balanced attack with 17 assists but were hampered by turnovers and personal fouls.

A few days prior, Georgia Tech faced Notre Dame in a nail-biter that went into overtime. While they managed to hold Notre Dame to just 75 points through regulation and overtime combined, their own offense sputtered in extra time leading to a close loss of 68-75. Their defense was notable for creating turnovers and scoring off them – contributing significantly to their total points.

However, it was against Boston College where Georgia Tech truly shined. They put up an impressive fight scoring 87 points while shooting over half of their attempts successfully from both field goals (54 percent) and two-point range (61 percent). Their fast-paced game yielded fruitful results with fast break points but was not enough as Boston College secured a high-scoring win at 95-87.

The upcoming game promises excitement as Georgia Tech looks to capitalize on its offensive strengths while aiming for better defensive consistency. With recent games indicating potential for high-scoring affairs, fans should anticipate another thrilling encounter.

The clash between the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Clemson Tigers is scheduled for January 17th at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, South Carolina. Fans can catch all the action live on ACC Network channel number 612 starting at 9:00 PM Eastern Time.
