They also capitalized on second-chance opportunities racking up twenty points from such plays while limiting Georgia Tech's second-chance points to seven.


Louisville's defense proved formidable as well blocking four shots and accumulating five steals over the course of action while committing fewer personal fouls than their opponents (sixteen). Their rebounding was superior too pulling down forty-one rebounds including twelve offensive ones which contributed significantly towards maintaining possession and controlling game tempo.
