The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets faced a challenging contest against the Clemson Tigers, concluding with a score of 81-57. The Yellow Jackets now stand with an even record, while the Tigers have improved their season tally.

At Hank McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta, the home crowd witnessed the visiting Clemson Tigers establish an early advantage with a first-half performance that saw them rack up 43 points to Georgia Tech's 31. The second half continued in similar fashion as the Tigers added another 38 points to their total, while the Yellow Jackets could only muster 26 additional points.

Georgia Tech struggled from the field throughout the game, converting only 30 percent of their field goal attempts and making just six out of twenty-one three-point shots for a three-point percentage of 29. Despite these shooting woes, they excelled at free throw accuracy with an impressive rate of 90 percent but it wasn't enough to close down the deficit created by Clemson's offense.

The home team did manage to out-rebound their opponents with a total rebound count of 34 compared to Clemson's 31. However, this small victory on the boards was overshadowed by other aspects where they fell short; particularly in ball distribution and defensive pressure. The Yellow Jackets tallied only six assists over both halves and failed to record any steals during play which contributed significantly towards their defeat.

Clemson showcased superior ball movement and shot selection which was evident through their assist count reaching twenty-one for this encounter. Their offensive efficiency was further highlighted by shooting nearly sixty percent from two-point range and forty-eight percent from beyond the arc. Additionally, they capitalized on turnovers scoring seven points off them compared to Georgia Tech’s four.

Looking ahead for Georgia Tech fans who are eager to see how their team will respond after this setback can tune into ACC Network channel number six hundred twelve as GT is scheduled next against Miami (FL) Hurricanes at Watsco Center located in Coral Gables on February twenty-fourth at four o'clock PM Eastern Time.
