The Yellow Jackets now hold an impressive record, while the Seminoles fell short despite a valiant effort. At Hank McCamish Pavilion, home of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, fans witnessed an intense matchup that showcased both teams' determination and skill. The home team's offense was spearheaded by their ability to convert two-point attempts at a 49 percent rate, making 22 out of 45 shots from within the arc. Their defensive prowess was also on display as they racked up seven blocks over the course of the game.


The Yellow Jackets dominated on rebounds with a total of 55 compared to Florida State's 33. This included an impressive number of offensive rebounds for Georgia Tech at 18, which contributed significantly to their second-chance points tallying up to 21. In contrast, Florida State managed only nine offensive rebounds and secured just eleven second-chance points.

Georgia Tech's passing game proved effective as well; they distributed a total of 17 assists leading to scores across various players on their roster. Despite committing more turnovers than their opponents with a count of 16 against nine for Florida State, Georgia Tech maintained better control overall with an assists turnover ratio standing at approximately one point thirteen.


Florida State put up a strong fight throughout the contest as well. They showed efficiency from beyond the arc hitting seven out of twenty-one three-point attempts resulting in thirty-three percent accuracy from long range. Their fast break execution led them to score thirteen fast break points but it wasn't enough to overcome Georgia Tech's solid defense and rebounding efforts.

As for free throws, both teams had similar success rates; Georgia Tech made seventeen out of twenty-four attempts giving them seventy-one percent while Florida State converted thirteen out of seventeen free throw shots which equates to seventy-six percent accuracy.


The next challenge for Georgia Tech will take place away from home against Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum located in Winston-Salem on March fifth scheduled for nine PM Eastern Time Zone.
