First Half

In the opening half, Georgia Tech showcased their offensive capabilities by scoring 40 points. The team was led by Akai Fleming, who contributed significantly with his shooting accuracy and rebounding prowess. Despite their efforts, they trailed behind as Drake managed to score 43 points. The Bulldogs capitalized on their field goal efficiency and fast break opportunities to maintain a slight edge over Tech.

Second Half

As the second half unfolded, Georgia Tech continued to battle hard but struggled with free throw shooting, converting only 39 percent of their attempts from the line. Baye Ndongo emerged as a key player for Tech with his impressive field goal percentage and presence on both ends of the court. However, Drake's defense tightened up and limited Georgia Tech’s scoring chances inside the paint.

Key Moments

One of the pivotal moments came when Chas Kelley III made crucial plays that kept Georgia Tech within striking distance during critical stretches of play. Yet it was not enough to overcome Drake's balanced attack led by efficient shooting from beyond the arc and strong defensive rebounds.

The post-game report Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets highlighted areas for improvement such as reducing turnovers and increasing free throw accuracy which could have altered this competitive matchup's outcome.

Looking ahead, fans can catch more action when Georgia Tech hosts Mississippi State Bulldogs at Hank McCamish Pavilion on December 3rd at 9:15 PM EDT. The game will be broadcasted live on ACC Network.
