In their last game on March 3rd against the Wichita State Shockers, HOU emerged victorious with an 83-66 win. Their performance was nothing short of spectacular; they dominated both halves and ended up scoring 50 points in the second half alone. The team's shooting accuracy was commendable, with a field goal percentage of 47 and an outstanding free throw percentage of 91. Moreover, they capitalized on turnovers by scoring 17 points off them and showed their prowess in rebounding with a total of 26 rebounds.

The defensive efforts by HOU cannot be overlooked either. With a total of 14 steals and two blocks, they disrupted WICH's flow and established control over the game's tempo. This defensive solidity combined with efficient scoring has been a hallmark for HOU this season.

On February 26th against East Carolina Pirates, HOU once again proved their mettle by securing a comfortable win with a scoreline of 76-57. Their defense was impenetrable as they racked up six blocks while maintaining offensive efficiency through high assist numbers that led to an assist-turnover ratio of two.

Even more impressive was their February 23rd performance against Tulane Green Wave where HOU put up an astounding scoreline winning by thirty points (89-59). They were relentless in transition play which resulted in fast break points totaling twenty-one; this aggressive play style is something MEM will need to watch out for.

While MEM will undoubtedly pose challenges for HOU – it’s important not to underestimate any opponent – there is reason for optimism among Cougar fans given recent performances. The Tigers will need to bring their A-game if they hope to contain the multifaceted attack that has become synonymous with Houston basketball this season.

Looking ahead at what’s sure to be an intense matchup between these two teams on March 5th at FedExForum scheduled for noon local time (5 PM GMT), fans can catch all the action live on CBS as part of national coverage. It’s set up perfectly: A top-ranked team looking to continue its winning ways versus home-court hopefuls aiming for an upset – basketball enthusiasts won’t want miss it!
