Houston Cougars Outlast Baylor Bears in Overtime at Foster Pavilion

The Houston Cougars, ranked 2nd, edged out the 11th-ranked Baylor Bears with an 82-76 victory. The Cougars' season record now stands at an impressive 27-1, while the Bears adjust to a tally of 21-7. The game was fiercely contested and required overtime to decide the victor.

At Foster Pavilion in Waco, Texas, fans witnessed a battle that pushed both teams to their limits. The Houston Cougars showcased their resilience and strategic execution throughout the game. With a solid two-point field goal percentage of 58 percent on 40 attempts and an overall field goal percentage of 48 percent from their total of 61 attempts, they maintained offensive efficiency that kept them ahead.
