First Half

The opening half saw Houston establishing control early on. With a strong defensive stance, they limited UCF to just 19 points. The Coogs' offensive strategy was clear: attack the paint. They scored a significant portion of their first-half points inside, capitalizing on high-percentage shots and maintaining a field goal percentage of 55 percent overall.

Second Half

In the second half, Houston continued to assert their dominance. Kingston Flemings led with an outstanding performance, contributing significantly to his team's total with efficient shooting and playmaking skills. His efforts were complemented by Joseph Tugler's perfect shooting from inside as he went flawless from two-point range.

Post Game Analysis

The Knights struggled throughout despite showing resilience in spurts during the second half when they managed to score 36 points. However, their efforts were not enough against Houston's relentless offense and strategic defense that forced multiple turnovers leading to easy fast-break opportunities for H-Town.

Houston's bench also played a crucial role by adding depth and energy whenever needed; they contributed substantially with key plays that kept momentum firmly on Cougar’s side throughout this encounter.
