The home team's defense was equally formidable. They amassed seven blocks and nine steals over the course of play. This defensive hustle translated into offense with Indiana scoring 17 fast break points and capitalizing on turnovers for an additional 13 points.

Indiana's rebounding effort was another highlight as they outrebounded Kennesaw State by a significant margin with a total of 43 rebounds—29 defensive and ten offensive—compared to Kennesaw State's total rebound count of just twenty-eight. This advantage gave them twenty second-chance points which were crucial in maintaining their lead throughout the game.

They also showed agility in transition scoring fifteen fast break points but ultimately could not keep pace with Indiana’s relentless attack.

As fans look ahead after this emphatic win by Indiana University basketball team, attention turns toward future matchups where maintaining this level of performance will be key for continued success throughout the season.
